Ms. VanWagenen's 4th grade class will be using technology regularly in creative ways to engage students and teach lessons while meeting standards. A monthly newsletter called "Technology Times" will be sent home and posted on the class blog to inform parents about the technologies being used, including blogging. The blog will be used for literature discussions where students can post responses to books and writings in a collaborative space. Parents are encouraged to join the blog discussions and share what they are reading.
